Exhibition

Solar cookers' exhibition working will be organized after the Conference sessions, on Saturday, July 15th, 2006 at Parque de las Ciencias museum (Granada).

(*) Devices can also be exhibited next to the posters area in Palacio de Congresos during the Conference sessions (from 12th to 14th of July). During these days, devices can only be exposed, but not working inside Palacio de Congresos. Only on Saturday, at Parque de las Ciencias museum, a sunny area to expose and do demonstrations with solar devices will be defined.


Private exhibition of solar cookers and other devices for Conference particpants will be held from 8:30 to 13:00. Later on, an open to public solar cookers exhibition is planned from 13:00 am to 15:00 pm on the same day. It will be held by the Conference participants who are invited to show their solar devices at work to visitors and participants of the Encuentro Solar 2006.

Field trips

All field trips will be organized by the Conference Secretariat and guided by members of the Conference Organizing Committee to show solar and typical landscapes of the region. Transportation will usually be by bus, although other transports may be arranged for a more efficient organization of the trip.

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to cancel any field trip due to lack of participation. Detailed information of every field trip will be sent to the participants after registration. Field trips include transportation, and meals (field lunch).
